Joe DeKroub, the owner of RE/MAX Platinum, headquartered in Brighton and serving Livingston, Washtenaw and Genesee counties, was named the top multi-office broker/owner in the United States for 2012 by RE/MAX Platinum.

Criteria for the award include success in recruiting and relating to top agents; sales
volume and improvement; participation in company events, local real estate boards and
community events; and an in-depth survey of agents and staff members.

DeKroub said this is the first time this award has been presented to a Michigan firm.
The RE/MAX Platinum office was created in the fall of 2008 when the Michigan Group Realtors and RE/MAX Platinum merged. Four RE/MAX Platinum offices located in Livingston, Genesee, Oakland and Washtenaw counties serve southeast Michigan.
