The Downtown Ypsilanti Farmers' Market will be held indoors Tuesday, a week earlier than expected, due to inclement weather stemming from Hurricane Sandy, organizers announced.

Easley said organizers had planned to have a special Halloween theme for today's outdoor market and were expecting a larger crowd, but she believes the weather may impact the number of people who show up.
"It'll probably be less because of the weather," she said.
Across the county, the weather has caused high winds and power outages, resulting in downed tree limbs and closed schools.
The market will be held at Corner Brewery at 720 Norris St. in Ypsilanti from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The market is managed by Growing Hope, and on average has 30 vendors a day. Vendors sell a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, baked goods, and other homemade items. The market is open May through the end of October outdoors and moves inside Corner Brewery in November and December to wrap up the season.
