In an effort to thank its many global customers, Domino’s Pizza is offering an early holiday gift: 50 percent off pizzas ordered online.
The deal, termed “Global Domino’s Day,” is available at more than 90 percent of Domino’s Pizza’s 10,040 stores worldwide.
“Domino’s is proud of our global presence, and we’re thrilled to spend this one day bringing Domino’s fans from around the world together with this special offer,” said Dennis Maloney, Domino’s Pizza vice president of multimedia marketing, in a statement.

In the U.S., Domino’s is running the offer Monday, Dec. 3 through Sunday, Dec. 9. In 51 other countries, the deal is only valid on Thursday, Dec. 6.
The offer is valid on pizzas ordered at menu price via online and mobile ordering platforms. In countries without online ordering, the deal is available in-store and through phone orders. To get the discount, use code “50OFF” when ordering.
Last year, more than 500,000 customers claimed the deal on Global Domino’s Day, according to a news release.
Ann Arbor Township-based Domino’s hit several company milestones this year: it opened its 10,000 store, reached $1 billion in digital sales, and its overseas store count surpassed its U.S. stores. In September, Domino’s reported a third quarter profit of $26 million, up from $22.1 million in the third quarter of 2011.
