The Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors named Alex Milshteyn as its 2012 Realtor of the Year; he was officially honored at a luncheon in October.

The award is given in recognition of outstanding leadership and service for the association, the community and the real estate industry. Award winners were chosen by their peers and recognized both locally and at the annual Michigan Association of Realtors Convention & Expo held at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn Oct. 3â€5.
Nominees are evaluated on their community service, education and business accomplishments and service to the organization at the local, state and national levels.
