Ken Gietzen retires from Chelsea State Bank after 40 years in banking

Chelsea State Bank in early January announced the retirement of Executive Vice President Kenneth A. Gietzen after a long career in banking.

Gietzen retires with 40 years of experience as a commercial banker, with the last 18 years spent with Chelsea State Bank.

Gietzen has also been active as a volunteer in the Chelsea community, participating on several boards either as a director or the chairman. The organizations he was involved with included the Chelsea Rotary Club, Chelsea Community Hospital, Silver Maples Retirement Community, Chelsea Wellness Foundation, Chelsea Chamber of Commerce and the Student Building Trades Program.

Gietzen will continue as a director of Chelsea State Bank.
