Ann Arbor-based firm Hile Design won a gold ADDY in the category "Elements of Advertising: Visual - Animation or Special Effects" for a promotional video the creative services firm made for Scio Township. The promo went on to win the "best in show" designation during the District 6 ADDY award ceremony Feb. 8.

The regional awards ceremony, sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, was held in Flint, and honored the best in advertising. Hile competed against other firms in the Ann Arbor and Flint regions.
The animated promotional video, called "Open Doors," was produced for the township's Economic Development Action Committee. The clip can be viewed on YouTube.
