cond place went to Human Resources for their Tin Tuber's "Journey to Oz"

Pairing the two themes makes sense, since sweet potatoes are high in potassium, a key nutrient in heart health.

Departments at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor competed against one another by decorating the tuber in a way that best represents Heart Month. All the festively-themed sweet potatoes were displayed and winners determined by popular vote by associates, patients and guests. More than 385 votes were cast for 25 participating departments.

Retail Services took "top potato" for their "Don't Get Fried" theme. Second place went to Human Resources for their Tin Tuber's "Journey to Oz," and third placed was awarded to the "Tater Twins: Tate and Tot," decorated by 3 North Mother/Baby Unit.
